Baic Southwest Base (Baic Yinxiang) was established in August 2010 and situated in Baic Yinxiang Automobile Industrial Park in Tuchang Town, Hechuan District, Chongqing, covering an area of more than 2,000 mu. It is an automobile enterprise constituted by one of national top 5 automobile groups, Beijing Automotive Group and one of Chongqing top 5 industrial enterprises, Chongqing Yinxiang Industrial Group Co., Ltd. As the subsidiary held by Baic Group, Baic Yinxiang focuses on the establishment of Baic Southwest Base and export platform.
The initial investment of the Project includes 2.6 billion yuan, and large-scale automobile production base is constructed. According to the design and planning of five processes, an engine production line of pressing, welding, coating, final assembly, and independent intellectual property rights has come into existence, forming complete and independent automobile manufacturing system and realizing globally advanced and domestically superior processes.
